[Vintage/antique items]
The dial is original.
A Breitling from the 1950s.
The caliber is the Venus 178 made by Venus.
Venus went bankrupt around 1966, but remains a popular movement manufacturer.
It has a layout with only two sub-dials, commonly known as two-counters, and at the 3 o'clock position it has a 45-minute counter and a totalizer, which is not often heard in current models.
The meter also has a scale called telephone units drawn on it, and at the time, it is said that these scales were used to measure the time as soon as a call started to avoid excessive call charges.
At that time, telephone charges increased every three minutes, so the scale was drawn longer every three minutes. Daily rate: Within ±60 seconds (measured using a timegrapher at the time of product publication.)
If genuine parts are difficult to obtain, we may manufacture or process the parts necessary for the repair.
